Team Building - Sunshine Mouth Beach BBQ (2024.8.10)

In this sweltering summer, in order to enhance team cohesion and relax, our company decided to organize a unique team building activity on August 10, 2024 - Sunshine Mouth Beach BBQ. This activity not only allowed everyone to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but also gave us a chance to get close to nature and enjoy delicious food, allowing every member of the team to deepen their understanding and friendship in laughter and joy.

Activity Preparation

A week before the event, colleagues from the HR department started busy preparations. They carefully selected the picturesque Sunshine Mouth beach as the venue, known for its clear water, fine sand, and charming sunsets. To ensure the smooth progress of the event, they also contacted local BBQ suppliers and prepared abundant ingredients and grilling tools. In addition, considering the importance of sun protection and safety in summer, the company also thoughtfully prepared sunscreen, first-aid kits, and parasols.

To make the activity more interesting, we also designed a series of team-building games, including beach volleyball, tug-of-war, and treasure hunts, aiming to enhance the teamwork and tacit understanding among team members through these activities.

Departure and Arrival

On the morning of August 10th, the sun was bright and the breeze was gentle. The company bus arrived on time at the company building, carrying colleagues full of anticipation. Along the way, everyone excitedly discussed the upcoming BBQ feast and team-building activities, and the bus was filled with laughter and joy. After more than an hour's drive, we finally arrived at Sunshine Mouth Beach.

As soon as we got off the bus, the scene immediately caught everyone's attention: the blue sea met the sky, the golden sunlight shone on the sparkling sea, and the soft sand was dotted with colorful parasols. Everything seemed so peaceful and beautiful. Everyone eagerly dropped their luggage, changed into light swimwear or casual clothes, and rushed towards the sea, enjoying the coolness and freedom of the sea.

BBQ Feast

At noon, the BBQ officially began. The prepared grills were neatly arranged on the beach, and various ingredients such as chicken wings, beef, corn, and seafood were dazzling and mouth-watering. Everyone quickly divided into groups, some responsible for lighting the fire, some for stringing the ingredients, and others for seasoning. Everyone was busy and happy.

As the charcoal fire gradually became stronger, the first wave of food was ready. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the beef was fragrant, and the seafood was exceptionally fresh and delicious. Everyone sat together, eating and chatting, sharing interesting things from work and daily life. The atmosphere was warm and harmonious. During this time, many colleagues volunteered to perform their talents, singing, dancing, and telling jokes. The scene was filled with applause and laughter, pushing the activity to one climax after another.

Team Building Games

After lunch, it was time for team-building games. First, there was a beach volleyball match, with two teams competing fiercely on the beach, each spike and block drawing cheers from the audience. Then came the tug-of-war, with everyone working together, striving for the team's honor, even though their clothes were soaked with sweat, their faces still radiated bright smiles. The final treasure hunt tested the team's wisdom and cooperation, with everyone working in groups to find the treasures hidden on the beach, filled with surprises and challenges.

Sunset and Return Journey

As the sun set, the sky gradually turned a brilliant orange-red, and the team-building activity came to a close. Everyone stood on the beach, quietly admiring the beautiful sunset, feeling reluctant to leave. In the afterglow of the setting sun, we took a group photo, capturing the beautiful moments of this unforgettable team building event.

On the return journey, although everyone felt a little tired, everyone's hearts were filled with satisfaction and happiness. This Sunshine Mouth beach BBQ team building activity not only allowed us to enjoy the beauty of nature, but more importantly, it deepened the friendship among colleagues, enhanced team cohesion and centripetal force. We believe that in future work, we will be more united and cooperative, and together create more brilliant achievements.
